Ryan Storey, B.S., DVM
Chief of Staff
As Chief of Staff of Hampstead Animal Hospital, Dr. Storey has been thrilled to watch the practice develop over the years. He is so proud of our exceptional team, as they embrace our shared values and culture of professionalism, dedication to client service, compassion, and quality care. Under Dr. Storey and Dr. Fraysse’s leadership and vision, the dedicated team at Hampstead Animal Hospital achieved certification with the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). He looks forward to continuing the hospital’s commitment to AAHA principles as the practice continues to grow.
Dr. Storey resides in Derry, NH with his family and a full household of four-legged friends. At his home they have a rescued lab/hound mix named Cooper who finds equal enjoyment in both hiking and lounging, they have two cats named Winston and Pumpkin who are a constant source of affection and entertainment, and they have a beautiful draft-cross paint named Rose. Outside their home, you’ll find 6 chickens, which provide eggs and constant entertainment.
Dr. Storey enjoys many different aspects of small animal medicine but he has a particular interest in senior care, diagnostic imaging (ultrasound), pain management, anesthesia, dentistry, cardiology, and surgery. Dr. Storey graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. He attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated at the top of his class. He previously served as Medical Director at a large veterinary emergency and general practice in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Storey became chief of staff at Hampstead Animal Hospital in 2008.
When he’s not practicing medicine Dr. Storey loves to stay active by playing tennis, road and mountain biking, hiking around the White Mountains (and in the Western U.S. when he can get there!), and kayak touring around New England. He loves traveling, especially to National Parks and scenic areas in Maine, and enjoys spending time home brewing craft beer.
