Megan Hwang, A.B., DVM

Dr. Hwang enjoys practicing medicine at Hampstead Animal Hospital because of the great staff and the high quality of care that patients receive here. She enjoys being part of general practice and has a particular interest in preventative care, ophthalmology, and dermatology.

Dr. Hwang resides in Rye with her husband and two children. Her pet family includes a hound named Butters who has brought them so much joy. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, surfing, cycling, taking nature walks with her children, and going to the beach. She also enjoys reading, photography, and jigsaw puzzles!

Dr. Hwang graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bowdoin College with a degree in Biology and a minor in French. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Degree from Tufts University. Following veterinary school, Dr. Hwang completed an intensive one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery.
