Position Details

• Role: Experienced Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
• Schedule: Wednesday - Friday. Every other Saturday and Sunday.

Hampstead Animal Hospital is a thriving practice located in Hampstead, NH. We are a team-oriented 6-doctor practice looking to add an experienced Veterinary Technician to our passionate team.

We are AAHA-accredited and take pride in providing the highest level of veterinary care to our patients throughout southern New Hampshire. We have an incredible staff that is supportive, fun, and hard-working. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with great communication skills. We have a large staff and a practice philosophy that allows technicians to use their skills and learn new ones.

What You’ll Do

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
• Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
• Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
